As Christmas approaches, we are getting ask a lot what Maddy needs. Maddy, in general, needs stuff for when she starts to eat and try to walk. Her registry has a high chair and a walker, although we aren't set on those specific items. We will need safety gear, like gates and book case wall anchors.

She will also need sippy cups, and silverware, and bowls that don't break when dropped on the floor (look for the words "BPA Free" on the packaging).

When it gets colder, she will need a car seat cover for the cold weather (the kind that goes on top of the seat, sort of like a shower cap, but not under the baby like a sleeping bag (those are unsafe)). She has a bit of teething toys, but she will probably need more (look for organic or HABA brand).

Once she can sit up, she will need a shopping cart liner for sitting. She has lots of clothes for through this winter; she needs clothes for the summer (age 9-12 months, or 12-18 months).

Based on Mommy and Daddy, Maddy will also need lots and lots of bed time books.


Maddy does not need a real pony, a puppy, a kitten, or a penguin.
